Description It is a very common butterfly found in Great Himalayan National Park. The Wing span is 28-33mm and is abundant almost throughout the year at forest edges and in garden. It remains around small shrubs for flowers. It prefers fairly dry and open ground between 600-2400m. Under hindwings having one black spot on costa. The host plant for this species is Rumex hastatus.
